Custom Size Shades Are Available Upon Request!
Simply provide window glass measurements, width and length, in inches.
Need help measuring? Below are some important tips to keep in mind as you measure your windows.

Measuring Windows for Your Custom Lockdown Shades
1. Provide dimensions, in inches, of the window glass only (“W x “L).
2. Look at the window on the side in which the safety shade will be installed, typically from inside the room.
3. Look ABOVE the window glass to determine if there is 2 inches of clearance for the shade to attach. If not, just let us know how much room you have available and we will do our best to find a solution.*
4. Look IN-LINE WITH and BELOW the window to see if there are any obstructions that would keep the window cover from deploying properly. Some obstructions we commonly see include crash bars, door handles, window ledges, and the floor.*
5. Measure the width and height of the glass only.
*If there are any obstructions above, in-line with or below the window, please provide a picture along with the window pane measurements. We are happy to work with you to figure how to make the Hideaway Helper safety blinds meet your needs!

Hideaway Helper Extension Strap
Request a QuoteThere are two applications for the Hideaway Helper Extension Strap. The first option is to roll the lockdown shade completely and allow the strap to hang down. With the shade rolled up all the way, the window will remain unobstructed. In the second option, the lockdown shade will hang lower on the window in a modified rolled-up position.
Using the extension strap in either position will put Hideaway Helper lockdown shades into reach on windows that are in high or hard to reach places.
